Return, Refund & Warranty Policy
Plain-language terms covering returns, refunds, and manufacturer warranty for all products sold through Action Micro — online at actionmicro.in and at our Kolkata store.
01Overview
Action Micro is committed to your satisfaction. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return and refund process subject to the conditions described below. This policy applies to all orders placed on actionmicro.in and purchases made at our physical store in Kolkata.
By completing a purchase from Action Micro, you agree to this policy. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; the version in effect at the time of purchase governs your transaction.
02Return eligibility
Most products can be returned within 7 days of delivery or purchase, provided:
- The item is unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and warranty cards.
- The seal is unbroken (for sealed products such as software, consumables, and licensed media).
- You have proof of purchase — order confirmation email, invoice, or receipt.
- The return request is raised within the 7-day window from the date of delivery.
Returns for orders of 5 units or more, or any order placed under a business account, are subject to a separate agreement. Please contact [email protected] before raising a return request.
03How to initiate a return
Step 1 — Contact us
Email [email protected] or call +91 99037 57608 with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return. Our team will respond within one business day.
Step 2 — Receive return authorisation
We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and provide the return shipping address. Do not ship items back without an RMA — unreferenced returns cannot be processed.
Step 3 — Pack and ship
Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or incorrect (see Section 07).
Step 4 — Inspection and confirmation
Once we receive the item, we will inspect it within 2–3 business days and notify you of the outcome via email.
04Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of return inspection. The refund is issued to the original payment method:
- Online orders: Refunded to the original UPI, card, or bank account used at checkout.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunded via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) to your provided account details.
- In-store purchases: Refunded as store credit or bank transfer. Cash refunds are at the discretion of the store manager.
Shipping charges paid at the time of order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item dispatched).
Items returned with missing accessories, damaged packaging, or signs of use may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the product value, at our discretion.
05Warranty
All products sold by Action Micro carry the manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty period and terms vary by brand and product category. The warranty card or documentation included with your product specifies the exact terms.
5.1 Warranty claims
For warranty claims after the 7-day return window, you must contact the manufacturer or their authorised service centre directly. Action Micro will assist with facilitating warranty claims for brands where we are the authorised distributor — contact us and we will confirm whether this applies to your product.
5.2 What warranty covers
- Manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase.
- Component failures under normal use conditions within the warranty period.
5.3 What warranty does not cover
- Physical damage, drops, spills, or misuse.
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, modification, or unauthorised repair.
- Consumable parts (batteries, thermal paste, cables) subject to normal wear.
- Products with tampered or missing serial number / warranty seals.
- Damage from power surges, lightning, or other external electrical events.
5.4 Advance Replacement (Enterprise / B2B)
Qualified business accounts may be eligible for advance replacement for certain product categories. Contact [email protected] to check eligibility.
06Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Software licences, activation keys, and digital products once delivered.
- Opened consumables (thermal compound, adhesives, cleaning kits).
- Custom-configured or special-order hardware built to your specification.
- Items explicitly marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase.
- Products returned beyond the 7-day return window (warranty claims apply instead).
07Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged in transit or you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
- A brief description of the issue.
We will arrange a free return pickup and dispatch a replacement or issue a full refund including shipping charges — whichever you prefer.
